Do I need to book an appointment?

We do not want Bridal Parties arriving at the door unexpected and have to turn them away disappointed as no fitting rooms or Bridal Consultants are free, therefore we work by an appointment system. You can check appointment availability and book yourself in via our website booking system.

Is there a charge for appointments?

Currently we have no charge however we would ask for your understanding that when you book an appointment we lay on enough staff to give you the personal consultation you deserve and by cancelling at short notice it is unlikely we will be able to fill that appointment time but still have to pay for staff hours.

How many guests can I bring to my appointment?

We don't have a limit but would kindly ask that you inform us in advance if more than 6 will be attending to ensure enough seating is available. Larger parties should if possible avoid booking appointments on Thursday evenings or Saturdays as the shop can be very busy.

What are your opening hours?

Our opening hours are displayed on our homepage, however we advise you to let us know in advance if you are planning to call at the shop as if we have no appointments booked in we will use the time to do other chores: banking, runs to dressmakers, post office etc.
These opening hours are also flexible so if you don't see a time/date to suit your bridal party please contact us to arrange how we can fit you in.

How much time should I leave for ordering?

We find that most brides have their dress bought 12 months before the wedding date, so start looking before that. Some brides like to be super-organized and will buy much sooner and there is nothing wrong with that. Others will be last-minute purchases which is made possible by our willingness to sell any dress off-the-peg or by our designers who keep stock or can do rush delivery.

What is the price and size range for your dresses?

Our dresses start at £199 on the Sale Rail page to over £3500. The sizes we stock in the shop are sizes 8 to 32 but most of our designers will make your dress made-to-measure.

What should I know before my appointment?

Please take a good look at our website prior to your appointment to get an idea of the type of dresses we stock. It is useful if you add your favourite styles to a 'wishlist' on our website as it helps us to plan better for your appointment.

Do you offer alterations?

Yes we do! We have dressmakers who have many years working alongside us to ensure your dress is a perfect fit.

How long are appointments?

A full Bridal or Bridesmaid appointment is 90 minutes. There can be some degree of flexibility as we have 3 separate and private fitting rooms, but we find 90 minutes is about right.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Your most trusted acquaintances, by that family or friend, who will give an honest opinion of how you look in the dresses, and setting aside their own personal likes or dislikes is very important.
Nude colored underwear is probably best but not a necessity.
Screenshots of dress styles you like is very helpful.
An open mind and willingness to try on dresses your bridal consultant recommends.
You might arrive with anxiety about your appointment but we hope you leave feeling joyful that you've 'Found the Gown'.
